The TekTone PK250B Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS)/Standby Station delivers backup power during power outages within a facility. Having uninterrupted backup power in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes is crucial in order to keep imperative life-saving devices functioning. The TekTone PK250B provides power to the TekTone NC300 nurse call system and the TekTone NC500 wireless emergency call system in the event that power is lost. If these important systems were to shut down during a power outage, lives would potentially be in danger. Keeping reliable communication lines open within a facility is imperative to being able to respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently. When the TekTone PK250B detects a power outage, it provides the backup power needed to keep connected devices operating without a lapse in power supply. The nurse call system will not shut down at any point as long as the TekTone PK250B is fully installed and operational. The TekTone PK250B acts as a bridge of power giving maintenance workers the time needed to get a generator running to take over the power supply. A green indicator on the front of the TekTone PK250B provides warning of how long it can sustain the connected nurse call system.

Our UL 1069 listed TekTone PK250B features wattage of 300 W, voltage of 115 VAC and frequency of 60 Hz output and the same voltage and wattage for input. This amount of power allows up to two minutes of power on a full load and nine minute on half of a load giving enough time to allow a backup generator to power on and take over. Once the TekTone PK250B’s power has been drained, it will take eight hours to recharge for the next use. With a compact size of 10.9 inches by 3.5 inches by 10.8 inches and a weight of 13.5 pounds, The TekTone PK250B can be conveniently stored and used in a small area.
