The R4KESR is a dual-function station allowing staff members to manually register in a room (one level) and place an emergency call when in need of additional assistance. Press the staff registration button and the associated corridor lamp(s) lights to indicate a staff member is in the room. Through programming, a facility has the option of having the staff registration button cancel calls placed from that room. Users may review the location of staff registered in rooms using R4K4020 — LCD Console or R4KANN — Annunciate Panel. If a staff member needs additional assistance, pressing the “Push for Help” button will place an emergency level call to the associated console(s) or annunciate panel(s). Pressing the “Cancel” button will cancel the call. 

The R4KESR is connected to its associated corridor light or domeless room controller and is continually supervised for station presence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s) when the station is removed from the system.
