The Staff Registration Station provides the ability for staff to manually register into each patient room or staff location. The default configuration provides three (3) levels of staff and one (1) call-in button. By pressing the staff registration button on the Staff Registration Station the associated corridor light(s) will light to indicate that a staff member is in the room. Through programming, a facility has the option of having the Staff Registration station cancel calls placed from that room per level of staff. When a call is placed from a room that has staff already registered, the system has the capability of upgrading the priority of that call to indicate the need for staff assistance. The staff registration station is connected to its associated corridor light or domeless room controller and is continually supervised.
