AP-5: WIRELESS ACCESS CONTROLLER - TWO GATES OR DOORS LINEAR
The AP-5 Wireless Access Controller is a durable unit with a wireless design to fit a vareity of access control requirements. The controller is designed to control one or two door strikes, mad-locks, barrier gates, automatic gates or door operators.
The unit has a built-in high-gain superheterodyne receiver that can pick up signals up to 500 feet away. The optional EXA-2000 antenna can be used for additional range. The AP-5 Wireless Access Controller monitors each MGT safety edge transmitter for hourly status reports, tamper signals and low battery signals. A beep indicator will sound every five seconds should a fault occur and the source can be displayed.
The AP-5 Wireless Access Controller comes with three dry contact relay inputs. One is dedicated for access control, another for obstacle detection and the third is programmable for either access or obstacle depending on the need. Up to 238 entry codes can be programmed for activation by one or more MegaCode® wireless keypads.
The AP-5 Wireless Access Controller will retain its memory, even without power giving constant reliability and security.
