The R4KRSPIP — Reporting Software Peripheral Interface Port serves as the direct data interface between the Responder 4000 network and the Reporting Software (RSW) package. The R4KRSPIP provides a data stream to R4KRSW — Reporting Software running on a PC to allow management a view of nurse call activities through the generation of specific reports. An R4KSPA — Serial Peripheral Adapter comes with R4KRSPIP to provide an isolating interface between outside systems (PC) and the Responder 4000. An R4KSPA is connected to R4KRSPIP via RS-485 and can be located up to 1000 feet away for remote connection. Each R4KRSPIP provides three (3) RJ-45 jack connections: (1) for X-Bus, (1) for output to a pocket page terminal (not used with R4KRSPIP), and (1) marked DIAG. The DIAG port is used to connect RSW through R4KSPA to the PC running R4KRSW software. An R4KRSW — Reporting Software Package is included with R4KRSPIP.
