The Responder® 4000 SLIM Push for Help/Staff Registration or Resident Check-in Station is an emergency dual pushbutton station that has the ability to place two (2) unique call priorities from a single station. The bottom button is used to place a “Staff Presence” or “Staff Registration” call. Using an optional button, the station can be customized to provide a “Resident Check-in” call-in priority level. The Cancel button allows for the cancellation of the call at the station. This type of station is normally located at a patient room headwall for placing a call for help, staff assist, and/or staff registration. When customized with the “Resident Check-in” button, the station may be located in the bathroom or near the entrance to the unit. 

The Push for Help / Staff Registration or Check-in Station is connected to its associated corridor light and is continually supervised for station presence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s) when the station is removed from the system.
