The Responder Network Concentrator enables Responder 5 Branch Regional Controllers (BRCs) and Network Adapter Modules (NAMs) to talk to each other across multiple subnets on the hospital’s network. To enable a deployment over multiple subnets, unicast communication is used between BRCs via the Responder Network Concentrator(s). One Responder Network Concentrator can support up to 8 BRCs/NAMs, with no more than 8 Responder Network Concentrators, for a total of 63 BRCs/ NAMs and one Responder Gateway Server.
