It's likely that the door release timer is set too short - meaning, it's 10 seconds or less. On average, 15 seconds or more is needed at the door. There are a couple of ways to increase the door release timer depending on the door lock connection types we have.

• if we have a direct door lock connection to the door station BE-D5S, please follow the enclosed guide:
  • To enter main programming first enter SYS1 settings:
    Push 1 and * the screen will display "----"
    then enter the 4 digits Admin pass-code 6666
    
    The screen will display SYS1, the system is now ready to program.
  • 8- Door Release Timer
    From SYS1 press 8* - Should now show 100, This would give you 10 seconds. It is timed in 1/10's. The maximum time you can program is 255 which would be 25 seconds.
• if your door lock is connected to an Altronix relay 6062 multi-timer, then the solution is to increase the timer knob to the desired time.
