Frequently Asked Question

If a monitor is making very loud squealing noise/sound when connected with the cat5/cat6 cable, check the following:

• layer adapter (BE-LA4/BE-LA6/BE-NA] being very close to the power supply
  • The solution is to put a little separation from the power supply, than the problem should go away
• If you swap the affected monitor with a working monitor, but you find out the problem follows the monitor
  • The solution is to have the monitor replaced once all troubleshooting is completed.

You must ensure and confirm that your cat5 pin-outs are correct and there is continuity with your cable tester
