Frequently Asked Question

If the door station is making very loud squealing noise/sound when calling the monitor, check the following:

• Speakerphone from the door station could be malfunctioning. Unplug the speaker lead connector off the board and reconnect it. 
  • The door station may be too close to another power supply. The solution is to put a little separation from the power supply, than the problem should go away.
• If you swap the affected door station with a working one, but you find out the problem follows the door station:
  
  • The solution is to have the door station repaired/replaced once all troubleshooting is completed.

Special Note:

You must ensure and confirm that your cat5 pin-outs are correct (568B) and there is continuity with your cable tester.
