Below is how to use your remote to program your key card fob's to your card reader.

For the S5 keypad, the best solution is to assign a "User ID" to each fob, and use that when programming. See the instructional image below taken from the programming guide.

First, here is the wiring diagram for the installation based on your existing keypad:

Next, once the keypad is now connected, let's begin the programming:

Setting the working mode:

To enter the programming mode

* Master code # 999999 is the default factory master code

Setting the working mode:

• Set valid card only users: 3 0 # Entry is by card only
• Set valid card and PIN users: 3 1 # Entry is by card and PIN together
• Set valid card or PIN users: 3 2 # Entry is by either card or PIN (default)

To exit from the programming mode *

To add a Pin user:

1. enter the programming mode
   1. * Master code # 999999 is the default factory master code
2. add a Pin user
   1. press 1
   2. press the first user id as follow:
      1. press 1
   3. now press the #
      
   4. press the four digit PIN code to release the lock
   5. when done press #

To exit from the programming mode *

To add a second Pin user: (optional)

1. enter the programming mode
   1. * Master code # 999999 is the default factory master code
2. add a Pin user
   1. press 1
   2. press the first user id as follow:
      1. press 2
   3. now press the #
      
   4. press the four digit PIN code to release the lock
   5. when done press #

To exit from the programming mode *

To add a card user (Method 1) (Optional)
This is the fastest way to enter cards, user ID number auto generation.
enter the programming mode

* Master code # 999999 is the default factory master code

press 1, then Read card or the key fob,
then press #

Cards can be added continuously without exiting
programming mode

To exit from the programming mode *

To unlock the door:

For a PIN user --> Enter the PIN then press #
For a card /Fob User --> Read card or key fob

How to set the keypad relay timer for the Pin Code users:

* Master code # 999999 is the default factory master code
To set door relay strike time * 999999 # 4 0?99 # *
0-99 is to set the door relay time 0-99 seconds

Here is an example on how this should look like for the timer to be set at 15 seconds:

• To set door relay strike time to 15 sec:

  • 15 #
  • *

this should take you out of the programming mode. If you still remain in the programming mode, press * once more.

Now, you are ready to test the PIN code and timer for complete functioning of the keypad.
