Regarding the security feature, there is a large 10-pin header on the back of the monitor that you may wire to window/door sensors, like a home security system might have.
In that security menu however, you may access IP cameras which could be setup from the monitor's GUI by logging in as "User" - each monitor may view up to 8-IP cameras connected to the network, streamed via RTSP.
