- There are at least two ways to setup a key fob to a specific tenants unit:
- The manual process is at the door station (NT-IP-A9K). ## (pound sign twice) to access the Admin settings (the display will say Admin) and input the admin password 123456. when successful. Then, scroll down using the down arrow of the keypad until you reach (Miscellaneous). Here you can add the room number, then the serial number of the key fob.
- The Management Software is the second option. If the user doe not already have the software, here is the process:
- IP_BEC_Management_English.rar [95.5 MB]. Once downloaded and deployed, one must run:
- DK_CMS\bin\watchdog.exe
- CMS [default login is: username: admin, and password:123456]
- under System, to add the door station under the Panel tab.

Index: 1Then go to Auto Setup. Under Devices to select the door station NT-IP-A9K. Then, to input the rest of the info needed:
MAC address

Gateways: 192.168.68.1
DNS:8.8.8.8SIP Settings (if the user is subscribed), otherwise, leave blank.
If unsure of the MAC address, a command prompt [cmd.exe] arp -a will display the IP and MAC address of the door station. Otherwise, you can use the RemoteUpgrate tool. - Under Access / Settings, select the XM, then, in the Card Setup section, add the info needed in:
Card: [serial#]
Name [Unit person]
Phone #
Group: XM
Building: 1
Unit: 1
Timeout: for example 2030-01-01 otherwise the key fob/card will seize to work
Room: [the room number of the user]Then click the Add button.
The above task only adds the card with the specific identification to use at the door station. Next comes the task to Authorize or de-authorize the use of the key fob/card.
To Authorize/de-authorize the use of a key fob/card, go to Access /Authorize, select and put a check mark in XM, Select and put a check mark to the desired user key fob to allow to operate the door. Now, under Devices on the right-end side, select the door station NT-IP-A9K. Now, click on the Add Auth button. That's it.

there are several processes to this but here are some of the ways :*** [Anticipated issues with non-technical users]***
1- Under Access / Settings, select the desired card / name/ serial number to de-authorize. In the middle grey area will be listed the selected card/fob. Then, add a check mark to the select card/fob. In this instance, change the timeout to the current or older date stamp. This will ensure when uploaded to the door station, the card/fob seizes to work. Ensure to select the Modify button to save the update.
Next, based on the current listing of serial numbers in the Access Card list. under Access / Authorize, select the card with the appropriate serial number / name desired to disable.
On the right side of the screen, ensure both of the following is done:
a) select or highlight the same selected card/fob/name
b) put a check mark in the box desired
On the center grey display, ensure the Card listed is the correct one to remove authorization to.
On the left side of the screen, under Device, Ensure both of the following is done:
a) put a check mark in the box XM directory and Door station desired
b) select or highlight the same selected card/fob/name
to complete the process, press the Add Auth or Del Auth for the desired result.
