[NT-IP-A9K[NT-IP-6S]NT-IP-7B] - Settings - Door panel to ring/call monitor (Complete Details)

If you are having problem to connect your A9K/6S door station to call/contact your NT-IP-7B monitor, the following is likely the settings to copy. Special note: this monitor does not have explicit floor number identification, rather, it is incorporated into the room number as you will see bellow.

To activate and sign on the WiFi service,

  • you glide or scroll your finger down from the utmost top-right corner where the WiFi signal is as you would do on any tablet or phone.
  • This will reveal the WiFi icon.
  • Then, by clicking the WiFi icon, the WiFi signal will be activated.
  • At this point, all you need to do is to select your WiFi access point from the list and add your login credentials.

[NT-IP-A9K] - How to add a Phone book to the A9K/6S door panel?

How to add a Phone book to the door panel?
1- access the web interface of the NT-IP-A9K/6S [example, 192.168.x.90]
2- from the left-end menu option select "Phonebook"
3- In the Phonebook Settings you now can add in "Name" the identification of your first contact: for example: John Doe
4- then you add in the space below where it says "RoomNo" the actual call number of the unit. For example: 101 [as in 0101 dial number].
5- click the "Submit" button when done.
6- to add more units / tenants / or destinations to the door panel, repeat step 4 to 5 as desired.
7- If you need to edit / correct / or delete an entry in your Phonebook, place the cursor on the "Name" to edit and it will be displayed in the irrespective entry [Name & RoomNo.] Then, you can proceed with the re-editing or deleting pf the target info as desired


Access Code to release the Door / Gate

The following procedure is to setup the Access Code Settings

  • access the web interface of the NT-IP-A9K/6S [example, 192.168.x.90]
  • Log in the admin interface using the default username: admin, password: 123456
  • from the left-end menu option select "Access"
  • In this window, update the following settings:
    • Unlock Timeout: 3s is the default, [option from 1-9]
    • Unlock Delay: 0s, [option from 1-9]
    • Elev refer: 12 default
    • Admin Card: 0 [add your admin card serial if you have one]
    • Security ON/OFF: [checked]
    • Unlock Passwd: 0000 [default] , [you can add up to 8 different unlock codes]


How to register your access cards or key fob's to the Door Station.


First, you need to use or register a master card to the card reader. You proceed as follow:
Special Note: keep a record of the serial number of your cards and key fobs on a spreadsheet.

  • connect to the admin site of the door station at 192.168.68.90 [or the IP addressed assigned]
  • login using the default username: admin and password: 123456 [or the assigned password]
  • select from the left menu option Access
  • Register an admin card: input “0” in the Admin Card frame and submit to confirm [save].
  • now you can go to the door station
  • Then hold the admin card up to the reader, when you hear the beep the card has registered successfully.

Now, you can register your access cards or key fob's to use to unlock the door using your door station:

  • Swipe the admin card first,
  • then swipe or hold the new access card to the card reader
  • within 10 seconds. It will sound a tone to confirm it has successfully registered.

There is another way for building managers to registers many key fobs or access cards using the management software.
