[NT-IP-G9W][G9WS][NT-IP10][NT-2MB] - How to adjust the monitor's Date & Time display
Last Updated 5 years ago

There are two ways in which your monitor will display the date & time accurately:

  1. If your installation has the PoE switch connected to no router. This means you have a closed circuit network. Therefore, you will need to manually set the current date, time, and time zone at each monitor.
    1. Here is how to manually set your monitor's date, time, and time zone:
      1. From the main screen of your monitor, select in the upper-right corner the icon labeled Apps
      2. then, on the next windows that comes up, select the Settings icon
      3. Next, scroll down the screen until you see SYSTEM Date & Time
      4. there, you can make the necessary adjustments.
    2. If your door station or monitor Network Settings [Lan settings] has an NTP box, then you can add to which Time server to pull your date & time from. However, note that because you are in a closed circuit with no outside connection, this settings will not function, though being available.
  2. If your installation has the PoE switch connected to a router. This means you have an opened circuit network. Therefore, you current date, time, and time zone at each monitor will be automatically set or determined by your router configuration.
