Another way to id your device from the network is:
- From the main door panel menu, press the # button twice [##] to go to the Admin mode
- On the next menu, enter 123456 [the admin password]
- On the next screen, select [2] for Network Settings
- On the next display, you will see listed your DHCP status [this should be disabled], your IP address, Your Mask Address, Your gateway, DNS, and server ip are listed.
- This is the ip address that identifies your un/programmed device.
- At this point you can begin setting up the correct networking information to your door panel.

Another way to id your device from the network is:
- ensure the door panel is connected to the PoE switch
- your laptop is connected to the PoE switch
- nothing else is connected to the PoE switch other then both A9K door station & your laptop
- from your laptop, open a command prompt window
- type in the command prompt window the following command:
- arp -a
- this command will display something like: Interface: 192.168.###.### --- #x#
- there may be more than one interfaces... use diligence in your selection.
- The ip address listed can be copied to your browser address bar to gain access to the door panel.
