Monitor Security Menu

Tap Security on the home screen to enter the security menu.

• ON/OFF - Tap to enter the security mode selection (Default Pass = 1234).

• Tap “Out”, “Home”, or “Sleep” to activate the alarm system. System sounds 2-beeps and icon
  appears at the home screen when active.
• Press “OFF” when system is active to disarm.
  

Anything done with the Alarm/Security options will not disrupt anything else previously done to your system. If anything, the alarm/security is nothing but an added feature.

Used as is, the alarm/security feature will log an alarm, your status changes (from home, sleep, out,...).

Further, if used in combination with the CMS Management Software, the logs are captured live as they occur and keep a snap shot of who was at the door at the time of the occurrence...

Also, when used with an external speaker, the alarm/security feature will sound out loud the horn is someone tries to use the door-station thus expecting someone to deactivate manually the alarm/alert. This horn sound will cause any intruder to run out of the way for sure. With this option, I believe you need to enter the code to deactivate the alarm.

Most of these feature are not actively supported by us as they are Bells and Whistles".

Here are some of how to use these optional external light or speaker options:

NT-IP monitor + Dome Light + Horn alarm (the alarm sound will be initiated by the monitor, there will be no need to add an external chime although this is also optional)
