(2) Video Intercom systems / [MT-701][MT-804][MT-MT-D5S] - MT 2 wire Intercom Series

Prior to December 15 2021 leading to January 2022, the manufacturer introduced some major changes to the design of the MT intercom system.

All door stations prior to that said date look and operated based on the old wiring schematic, mainly when it comes to the lock connection and operation.

With the start of January 2022, the new panels came with:

• newer camera lenses that cannot replace the old panel cameras
  
• newer microphones that cannot replace the old panel mic.
  
• new card reader that cannot replace the old card reader panel.
  
• the introduction of a MicroUSB connector for programming but only the manufacturer can use that...
  
• two lock jumpers are introduced as oppose to a single one as in the old panel.
  
• the lock connector is drastically different and needs to be connected differently. Hence, causing confusion with the older installers.
  
• Monitors have one less DIP code from 7 down to 6 now...
  

As of 2023, we are finding out that the manufacturer has yet again made changes to the MT system without letting know and introduced new parts:

• MT-2-4D
  
• MT-2-4C
  
• ect...
  

This is only to cite some of the major differences.
